Thief Calvin Smith smirked at Poundland staff as he left with bag of lipsticks
Fartown man has extensive criminal record
A Fartown man has admitted to stealing more than £1,000 worth of goods from stores inHuddersfield.
Calvin Smith, of Shearings Cross Gardens, appeared at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court yesterday in custody.
The 30-year-old swiped £95 worth of cosmetics from the Home Bargains and Poundland stores in the town centre between May 26 and June 27.
On the most recent date Smith was caught out stealing after smirking at a member of Poundland staff as he left.
A police officer caught him with a bag filled with lipsticks and he obstructed her as he ran off.
