Serious sexual assault in Huddersfield town centre
A man is to appear in court today following an alleged sexual assault in Huddersfield.
The incident is said to have taken place at tea-time on Saturday at Cross Church Street, in Huddersfield town centre.
Det Insp Mark Colman of Kirklees CID said officers attended the scene after being contacted by members of the public.
He said: “A woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault and police attended.
“A man will be appearing in court this morning.”
