A cannabis farm owner had his bubble burst - after residents complained about the smell!
The illegal substance was found growing in a house in Slaithwaite after police investigated complaints over the unmistakeable scent.
But that wasn’t the only crime busted, after the owner was found to be living in the UK illegally and wanted in connection with another offence elsewhere in the country.
The Kirklees Rural Neighbourhood Policing team posted images of the farm on Facebook, which show a staggering 200 of the Class C drug plants.
A spokesman said: “Rural Officers went to a cannabis farm at an address in Slaithwaite on Sunday after local residents nearby complained about the smell!
“Inside, officers found 200 plants at various states of growth.
